Very large and spectacular sterling silver necklace by master Mexican jewelry artist William Spratling. Spratling passed away in 1967 but his work lives on in spectacular fashion. This is a rarely seen design decorated with 10 cabochon amethyst gemstones. The pendant is fastened with a pin so that it can also be worn as a brooch. Everything about this pieces is bold and beautiful. The chain is a vintage sterling silver multi-loop beauty - a perfect complement to this stunning pendant. The pendant has a 1940's hallmark.
